How long does the fragrance last on one Jewelstone?

The duration depends on the intensity of the scent you apply and environmental factors, but you can typically detect the aroma for up to one month per stone. We recommend refreshing the stone with your preferred scent as often as you like, or replacing it when you want to change aromas.

Can I use my own perfume or essential oils with the pendant?

Yes! That's the fun fact! We provide both pre-perfumed and unscented Jewelstones. You can easily add 1-2 sprays of your favorite perfume or a few drops of pure essential oil directly onto an unscented Jewelstone.

What material is the pendant and chain made of?

The pendant and the matching 76cm/30inch chain are crafted from genuine 925 Sterling Silver, a high-quality alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper) for strength and durability.

Will the perfume/essential oils damage the Sterling Silver?

No. Since the scent is contained within the Jewelstone inside the locket, the metal is protected from direct, continuous contact with the oils. Sterling Silver is generally safe for use with essential oils in this manner.

Will the 925 Sterling Silver tarnish?

All genuine Sterling Silver can tarnish over time when exposed to air and moisture. To minimize this, we recommend removing the pendant before showering, swimming, or applying body lotions, and occasionally wiping it with a soft cloth.
